frame for the first workshop If you liked the small group format, which allows for discussion and getting to know your colleagues Then it's time for the next step: Affairs II. This workshop will be limited to eight participants and has been requested so sign up early.
You will get 3 units of continuing education credits. All for the low price of $75.
The workshop will address how to effectively
help “affair couples” by:
Assessing where clients are stuck in the "affair work." Going into the meaning after the initial crisis has dissipated. Educating clients about the value of awareness and communication. Illustrating use of self in the constructive triangle with the couple. Seeing how it can be fun to take responsibility, make decisions and live with the non-choices. Discussing
cases that illustrate the above.
The workshop is developed and presented by Helene Brun, M.S., MFT.
Helene’s qualifications as a couples consultant include:
20 years experience as a therapist
working primarily with couples Associate of the Couples Institute in Menlo Park for 14 years (1991 to 2005) Developed Couples Seminars and Premarital Marathon Consults Extensive experience with small groups
and workshops for couples Has had a private counseling and consulting practice since 1991 Teaches graduate courses on Couples And Family Therapy at The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo

Board of Behavioral Sciences to provide continuing education (#PCE 3889). This course meets the qualifications for 3 hours of continuing education credit for for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required
